Lauren & Nick: Married at the French Estate
Today, I’m very happy to share my last wedding of 2014… featuring Lauren and Nick! I met Lauren, about one year ago as she started planning a Christmas wedding. Since the time we met, I had the pleasure of getting to know them both on a few occasions during different milestones… like their fun engagement session, at Lauren’s sister’s wedding over the summer, and their close friends Kate and Jeff’s wedding back in October (where Nick was the best man). By the time Lauren and Nick’s wedding day rolled around, we had formed a bond that really allowed for the day to run smoothly and I was able to capture some beautiful moments. My favorite moment of the entire day was when Lauren’s parents walked her down the isle. I think the huge smile on her mother’s face, really sums up the feelings of the year! Pure happiness. All of their beautiful details came together with a romantic evening with lots of joy, love, and sparkle! Congratulations to you both!

Beth & Joe: Destination Wedding in Los Olivos
I met Joe and Beth, this summer, as they started planning a wedding. They both wanted their day to be filled with good wine, good food, and good company. With the help of Julia of Small Wonders Event Planning and Design, they designed a handcrafted wedding, with rustic, sophisticated, and romantic details, reminiscent of Beth’s Midwestern roots. They chose to have their wedding at Coquelicot Estate Vineyard in Los Olivos, California, in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley. There was a lot of beautiful moments that filled their day, from beautiful ceremony performed by Beth’s father, to the delicious food including pasta and seasonal horderves made on site, and getting a good-omen-rainbow during the ceremony! Here’s some of my favorite images from Joe and Beth’s day. All friends and family may order and download wedding pictures online HERE.

Halloween Wedding Rehearsal
This year was the first time I have ever experienced a costume wedding rehearsal. For the record, I now think that it should be a mandatory thing! Being a part of the wedding rehearsal gave me a chance to meet Beth and Joe’s family in a relaxed setting and check out their ceremony site a day early. As the group walked up, I barely recognized Joe in his costume of the “Most Interesting Man in the World.” What a genius idea for a costume, especially if you want a logical excuse for having a beer “prop” in your hand all night long! My favorite moment from the day was when Joe and Beth giggled and hugged eachother, with the beautiful vineyard backdrop. After the rehearsal on site, we went over to Hotel Corque for a small reception where I saw so many creative costumes! A few favorites included Julia and Jeremy’s matching set of Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, Beth’s cousin was a Marilyn clone, and the groom’s mom was Maleficent! Guests may access and download all of the party pics HERE.
