Innovate SoCal 2015
Innovate!SoCal was hosted last week, by the Long Beach City College. 250+ business owners from the Southern California area attended for inspiration, networking, and guidance for their own entrepreneurial endeavors. A few big speakers included president of Long Beach City College Eloy Ortiz, Mayor Garcia of Long Beach, author of “All-In Startup” Diana Kander, Steve Isakowitz President of Virgin Galactic, David Delgado jet propulsion designer at NASA, and Intuit Consultant Jeff Zias. I learned a few great things about technology, space, and the future of Long Beach. My favorite part of the event was when two startups were awarded $50k each! How cool is that?
