Innovate!SoCal was hosted last week, by the Long Beach City College. 250+ business owners from the Southern California area attended for inspiration, networking, and guidance for their own entrepreneurial endeavors. A few big speakers included president of Long Beach City College Eloy Ortiz, Mayor Garcia of Long Beach, author of “All-In Startup” Diana Kander, Steve Isakowitz President of Virgin Galactic, David Delgado jet propulsion designer at NASA, and Intuit Consultant Jeff Zias. I learned a few great things about technology, space, and the future of Long Beach. My favorite part of the event was when two startups were awarded $50k each! How cool is that? Long Beach Museum of Art: Hartman Pavilion
A milestone event for the Long Beach Museum of Art, a generous donation from the Hartman Family. Sunday they held an event honoring the family, followed by a small reception.
Melissa & Matt: Griffith Observatory Engagement Session
Melissa & Matt are adventurous and in love. They enjoy spending time outdoors hiking and visiting National Parks. One of their favorite date spots has been the Griffith Observatory where they recently saw Jupiter and it’s moons through a telescope! These two are tying the knot in a couple of months in Malibu, and I’m super excited to be apart of their day. Congratulations you two!
