Joanna and Tamao celebrated a beautiful wedding last month. My favorite part of their wedding day was finding a sweet pocket of gorgeous light on the lawn immediately following their ceremony. We were able to take all of the formal group shots in just under 15 minutes, allowing Joanna and Tamao time to mingle with guests during cocktail hour. During their reception, guests were welcomed with home made succulent escort cards from a family nursery in Santa Cruz, California and small paper cranes on each one made by the groom’s mother. They danced the night away under the stars and drank with college buddies from back in the day. Congratulations to you both Joanna and Tamao! Friends and family can access all of the wedding pictures online HERE. Check back soon to see the completed album design!

Kirsten and Brian tied the knot a few weeks ago in Long Beach. Their ceremony was held at the First Congregational Church of Long Beach and a reception at the Long Beach Aquarium just around the corner. I really loved all of the special moments throughout the day, from Kirsten tearing up as she she saw her mom just after getting in her wedding dress, the moment a random dog who stopped to say hello after the ceremony, and the scenic walk through the aquarium as Kristen and Brian had tons of photo ops with sharks, penguins, and fish of the sea. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour next to the sea otter tank and dinner at the aquarium under a life-size whale! What a rad venue for a wedding and great memories for their families. 🙂 Congratulations to Kirsten and Brian!!
Developed in 1999, the Coquelicot Estate Vineyard lies just south of the historic Mission Santa Ines in the Santa Ynez Valley on California’s Central Coast. This week, they opened their (90+ year old) barn doors and hosted a launch party with lots of fun event professionals from catering, event design, and florals, to rentals, music, entertainment, transportation, and desserts. My favorite part of the evening was drinking some delicious wine, tasting all the food, and going on a hayride through the vineyard! If you were at the event, I probably have a great picture of you… feel free to check out more images HERE. I’m looking forward to returning in a couple of weeks for Beth and Joe’s wedding day! 🙂
