Leaving the studio this week is a beautiful portrait of Rene’s pups. The size is a 20×24″ Canvas Gallery Wrap with 1.5″ mount. I was just at her home the other day measuring wall space. I love how fast the lab was able to turn around the print. Rene plans on putting the image in her bedroom so she can enjoy seeing it everyday. I love this picture and I hope she will enjoy seeing her babies for many years to come.
I met Rene a few months ago while walking my dog Abra. She lives around the corner from me and also has a French Bulldog puppy named Stitch and two Boston Terriers named Buttercup and Blossom. Abra and Stitch are both brindles and look like twins. We’ve been arranging afternoon play-dates for all the dogs to play. It looks so adorable… do you remember those old doublemint gum commercials? Yeah it’s kinda like that. =) For the holidays, Rene wanted to have some family portraits done with her pups at the IceHouse in Huntington Beach. This very well may be my new favorite photo spot for pictures.
I first met Wendy and James over three years ago as they planned a fall wedding and we did some unique engagement pictures of them riding tandem bikes in Santa Monica. This weekend I got a chance to meet the newest member of their family, little Isaiah, for the first time. We went to a beautiful park near my studio in Huntington Beach. James brought his truck and we got some cool shots with everyone handing out the back end, and then some casual shots playing around in the grass.
Sunny and Jeremy are past wedding clients. They were married at Castle Green, back in August of 2010. I just watched their wedding video again especially love the part right in the beginning that captured how excited Sunny was to see me walk in her suite as she started her day.
Now, it’s a little over 3 years since their wedding and these two have been pretty busy. They recently bought a new home and started their own little family with the addition of little baby Serena. Sunny chose to have their portraits done at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Here’s some of my favorites!
