Some samples of Jen and Rylan’s custom wedding album. You might recall their wedding pictures from last year at Seven Oaks Bakersfield. Their wedding album is 12×9″ with a grey silk cover to match her wedding dress. I just LOVE the texture and quality of these books!
I met Melissa and Jeff back in August as they started planning their wedding. Melissa would describe her vision as “modern, classic, a little bit of glam.” I photographed their engagement session at Paradise Cove in Malibu. It was exciting seeing Melissa’s vision come together this past weekend! They were surrounded by their families and their wedding included traditions from Melissa’s Spanish heritage including a lasso ceremony and mariachi band. Here’s some of my favorite pictures!
When I first saw Jeff, I almost didn’t recognize him! He was wearing a tux, sunglasses, and long hair slicked back.
Most of Melissa’s bridesmaids have been in her life since the age of 12, with the exception of her sister and a high school friend. How gorgeous are these ladies!
The sun was so bright, Jeff had to turn away from the sun until Melissa was close to the alter.

Here’s a couple shots of us doing some lighting tests before the ceremony.
Yesterday, I had the great pleasure of photographing a beautiful celebration at the beach. My photographer friend Kathryn Colby has daughter who was turning two and being christened on the same day. Kathryn is highly detailed and planned every part of the event; from the color theme, to outfits, homemade cupcakes, and setting up the event site, nothing was overlooked! 60 of her closest friends and family attended the ceremony, and it was a perfect day at the beach in Rancho Palos Verdes! Here’s some of my favorite pictures.
After 2 years, a few trade shows, many long hours researching the internet and forms, a couple sample albums and a few swatch books later, I am proud to say I’ve finally found the perfect leather wedding album company! As a photographer, the quality of the final product is everything. Details about the quality of fabric (in this case leather), texture of paper, color in development, and high quality binding are some of the key things I focused on. Bianca and Eric are my first clients to get one of these beautiful leather albums! Picture below is a sample 12×12″ album for my studio, their 10×10″ album, and Bianca’s mom’s album in 8×8″. If you’re interested in seeing a sample of this book, hit me up! It’s way more awesome in person!
