Victoria and Anthony married 2 months ago at one of my favorite venues, Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. Her album is a beautiful 12×12″ photo wrapped cover with leather wrap, matte paper, thick pages. If you want to see the full album design click HERE.
I photographed Lauren and Chris’ wedding at the Santa Barbara Zoo last May. It was a great wedding with lots of fun locations to shoot! After the wedding, I hadn’t heard from Lauren for a long while. Finally, last month she emails ready to order her wedding album! When I first met Lauren I remember how much she absolutely LOVED my sample albums, especially the ones with the smooth matte pages. She also liked having a leather cover. Luckily I was able to marry her two requests in the creation of a custom 10×8″ album that has matte pages, lay flat binding, no gutters, a black leather cover with 3/4 Photo Wrap on the cover! That’s definitely a mouthful of features, but I couldn’t be more thrilled about this album! If you’re curious to see the layout design of this book, click HERE to see more.
The beach has a special place in Bianca and Eric’s hearts for a couple of reasons. First, Eric proposed at sunset in Hawaii. Second, these two continued that beach-theme at their wedding last month at the Waterfront Beach Resort, in Huntington Beach. You might have remembered their wedding day pictures were taken during the very rare annular eclipse. We intended on taking more romantic pictures right at sunset, but unfortunately the marine layer was pretty thick and casted a hazy fog which was awesome for taking pictures with the eclipse but not so great for the real sunset pictures. The sun just went into a soft grey instead of the beautiful rosy colors we were hoping for. So, this past weekend we took a trip out to one of my favorite beaches in Malibu and Bianca and Eric got back into their wedding attire! Bianca ended up having 2 different dresses, one for her intimate church ceremony and then one for the “real” wedding with all their friends and family. She didn’t mind getting into the ice-cold water in her first dress. I gotta give her mad props… I don’t think I could’ve been so brave. Even for great pictures! For her second dress, we tried to keep it as clean as possible by staying on the beach. We ended the session with some great lighting wiht the sunset and sparklers!
