Long Beach Art Museum Wedding: Gina & Issy

Gina and Issy had a beautiful intimate ceremony overlooking the beach at the Long Beach Art Museum this past weekend. Unlike most of my couples, Gina booked me for her wedding over the phone, without ever meeting me in person. One of her first questions to me was if I have photographed an older couple before followed by her second question if I had ever photographed a Jewish wedding before…. After sharing some samples, she felt confident we were a great match and I’m so glad she did! Gina would describe her wedding as “untraditional” with a mix of bright colors of yellow, blue, and pinks. She wore a navy evening gown with crystal beading and Issy wore a suit. Here’s some of my favorite pictures from their day!

Fleming + Samantha: Venice Engagement

Fleming and Samantha met back in 2005, on an elevator. Their relationship grew after some dates, and now 6.5 years later they are planning a wedding in their favorite neighborhood! These two love hanging out in the Venice/Santa Monica area, their pup Ruby, and exploring the world, and food. For their engagement session, they wanted to stay close to home and visit some of their favorite spots! First stop, the popular Binocular building, on Main Street.

Kristin and Jordan: Married at the Victorian, Santa Monica

Kristin and Jordan tied the knot this past weekend at the Victorian, Santa Monica. I met them both back in June as they started the planning process; you might remember their fun engagement session at Manhattan Beach back in July. Even then, they had a clear vision of what they wanted their wedding to be like: candlelit, romantic, and vintage were just some of the key words. Jordan is really into football, so they actually chose their wedding date for late February so it wouldn’t conflict with the football season.
