Orange County Beach Wedding: Annie & Alan

This weekend, I had the pleasure of documenting a beautiful beach ceremony of Annie and Alan. The wedding took place in Dana Point, coordinated by Orange County Beach Weddings. The details incorporated lots of beach elements from the stone “wishing rocks,” flip flops provided for guests, to delicious menu including gourmet baby green salad, grilled Chilean Sea-Bass with mango salsa, cilantro rice, broccolini spears, lemon sorbet, and bonless Braised Short Ribs from Summit Catering.

My favorite part of the evening was seeing how happy Annie was all evening long… in addition to the surprise firework show during dinner. Totally unexpected… but with about 10 seconds to set up the shot, I think it’s a great memory. 🙂 Congratulations to Annie & Alan! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness.

Melissa & Matt: Griffith Observatory Engagement Session

Melissa & Matt are adventurous and in love. They enjoy spending time outdoors hiking and visiting National Parks. One of their favorite date spots has been the Griffith Observatory where they recently saw Jupiter and it’s moons through a telescope! These two are tying the knot in a couple of months in Malibu, and I’m super excited to be apart of their day. Congratulations you two!

Beth & Joe: Engagement in Long Beach

Ok, I think I’ll just start by coming right out and saying it. I have the best clients ever! When I first met Beth, I knew we were soul sisters. She’s also from the Midwest, a huge foodie, gorgeous (both inside and out), and loves helping people. Beth met her handsome fiance years ago, and it was an instant match. Together, they’re currently planning an intimate wedding for this Fall at Coquelicot Estate Vineyard in Los Olivos, for their closest friends and family.

For their engagement session, we chose to create images that were very personal. We included some of their favorite things, such as their new home in Long Beach, wine, laughs, and the beach! I was totally in awe with the great location and beautiful light. My favorite moment during the session was when Joe scouted out a HUGE sand pile stacked along the shore. He was super adventurous and determined to get to the beach. 🙂

Tiffany & Christopher: Maternity session at the Beach

Today, I would like to share some beautiful pictures of Tiffany and her husband Christopher. I met originally met Tiffany back in 2011, when she was a wedding guest at Angela and Eugene’s handmade wedding at Rancho Del Cielo in Malibu. She was married in 2011 and coordinated a wedding for Michael and Adrian, late summer of 2012 at the Andaz West Hollywood with panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills. Recently, I met with Christopher’s little sister Cathy who is getting married this fall in Santa Barbara (story coming soon!). Whew!! That was a long train of connections, but I love seeing how our history grows over the years. =) Tiffany and Christoper are expecting a baby boy this August.
