Blake and Pieyu are a sweet couple from New York City. They contacted me as they started planning an intimate wedding in Orange County. They wanted to elope at the Santa Ana courthouse and take some fun pictures to celebrate. We scheduled two formal portrait sessions, one at a quiet beach in Laguna and a second at the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden in Long Beach California.
This image was captured at the Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach, as they were getting ready for their courthouse ceremony. One way I thought we could include their dog in the celebration was with a custom dog collar with yellow roses and delicate baby's breath.
